How to Cast a Mind Domination Spell: Herbs, Crystals and Candles

Key Takeaways

  • A mind domination spell is cast to plant a thought in someone's mind, and it works best when the thought does not clash hard with what they already believe.
  • Use it at work to get your boss to promote you, or in love to get someone to pay attention and stay loyal.
  • Protect yourself first with an amulet or charm, a cleanse or a protection candle, because your target's spirit team may push back.
  • Licorice root, calamus root and master of the woods are commonly used herbs for domination.
  • The On His Knees candle is blessed for domination, and the Till Spell Do Us Part couple candle can also be used to get that special someone to propose or commit.
  • Visualise your outcome or whisper your intention to the flame while the candle burns, and never leave it unattended.

If you are thinking about casting a mind domination spell, it helps to know which tools to use and how to protect yourself first. We cover the herbs, crystals, sigils and taglocks used in domination work, plus a simple candle spell to cast at home and a couple candle version for a proposal.

What is a mind domination spell?

A mind domination spell is cast to plant a specific thought in someone's mind, so they act the way you want. It works best when the thought does not clash hard with what they already believe.

At work, you can use it to get your boss to promote you. In love, it can get someone to pay attention, stay loyal or commit to you.

Mind domination differs slightly from dick domination, which binds his desire to you. If that is what you are after, try our D*ck Domination Spell or Big D Energy Phallic Spell Candle.

Why should you protect yourself first?

Domination work pushes hard on another person, and their spirit team, such as spirit guides or ancestors, may push back. Many witches also believe spell work can draw in bad energy and meddling spirits.

Protecting yourself first helps keep that backlash away from you and your spell. Whether you are new to witchcraft in Singapore or have cast before, use one of these three methods before you start.

  • Wear a protective amulet or charm. Choose one that feels right for you. Personally, I wear a Thai amulet before starting any spell work.
  • Cleanse your space. Clear the energy around you before any spell work, for example with incense or a cleansing candle.
  • Light a protection candle. No amulet or charm? Light a simple protection candle before you begin.

For extra protection, our protection spell is cast to shield you from negative energy, the evil eye, hexes and jinxes.

Which herbs are used for domination?

Dried herbs and roots in open sacks at a herb market

These herbs are commonly used in domination work.

  • Licorice root. Control and influence.
  • Calamus root. Commanding and control.
  • Master of the woods (sweet woodruff). Mastery and control.

Choose the herbs whose properties match what you want. Cleanse them, then enchant them by speaking your intention into them.

Grind them if you like, then scatter them around your candle. You can also blend them into your own domination oil and charge it under moonlight for a set number of days.

Which crystals are used for domination?

Polished tumbled malachite stones with banded green patterns

We recommend these crystals for domination work.

  • Malachite. Transformation and protection.
  • Garnet. Passion, devotion and commitment.
  • Labradorite. Intuition and wisdom.

Hold your crystal while you set your intention, then place it beside your candle.

What sigil and taglock do you need?

Your sigil holds your intention in one symbol, and your taglock links the spell to your target. Make your sigil the same way as in our guide on how to cast your own love spell, using a domination intention.

Write a short intention, such as "He is devoted to me", and cross out the vowels. Write A to Z around a circle, then join the remaining letters (H, S, D, V, T, D, T and M) in order with one continuous line.

Feeling lazy? Type your intention into this free sigil generator and it will draw one for you.

For your taglock, carve their full name and date of birth into the candle. You can also place their photo or something they own under your tray.

Which candles are used for domination?

These candles from our blessed spell candles range suit domination work.

  • On His Knees Domination Spell Candle. Blessed for domination, obedience and control workings, for when you want the person you have in mind to stop playing games and start paying attention.

  • Till Spell Do Us Part Couple Candle. Made for marriage spells and commitment workings. It can also be used for domination, to get that special someone to propose or commit to you.

You can pair either of them with the herbs, crystals and sigil above.

How do you cast a simple mind domination spell?

Tuesday, the day of Mars, is commonly used for workings of power and passion, so it suits domination spells.

Illustrated steps for a simple domination candle spell, from protecting yourself to finishing the spell
  • 1. Protect yourself. Wear your amulet or charm, or light a protection candle, then cleanse your space.
  • 2. Cleanse and enchant your tools. Cleanse your candle, herbs and crystal, then speak your intention into them.
  • 3. Carve your candle. On the On His Knees candle, carve your full name and date of birth into the standing figure and your target's into the kneeling figure. On other candles, carve your intention, your sigil and their full name and date of birth into the wax.
  • 4. Dress your candle. Dress it with a little of your own domination oil, keeping it away from the wick.
  • 5. Write your petition. Write your intention on a small piece of paper, for example "John Doe (01 January 1993) is devoted and obedient to Jane Doe (12 March 1995)". Draw your sigil underneath.
  • 6. Set up your altar. Place your petition and any physical taglock, like their photo, under a fireproof tray, or keep the petition aside to burn. Set the candle securely on the tray, with your crystal and herbs around its base.
  • 7. Light and visualise. Light the candle, and burn your petition safely in the flame if you kept it aside. Visualise your outcome while the candle burns.
  • 8. Finish the spell. Once the candle has burned down, discard the remains or bury them near where you live.

I also learned a method from another practitioner. Whisper your intention to the candle flame as though you are whispering into your target's ear, then gently blow at the flame without blowing it out.

For work, you might whisper affirmations like "Jane Doe is a good employee", or for love, "Jane Doe is the one for you". Do this throughout the spell until the candle burns out.

It is best to cast this spell late at night, while your target is likely asleep, so it is easier to reach their subconscious. Keep your candle safe while it burns.

  • Stay with it. Never leave a burning candle unattended or burning overnight.
  • Keep it steady. Keep it upright on a stable, heatproof surface.
  • Keep it clear. Keep it away from children, pets, draughts and anything flammable.
  • Mind your additions. Keep crystals, paper and loose herbs away from the wick and flame.
  • Put it out. Extinguish it before you leave the room or go to sleep.

How do you use the couple candle for a proposal or commitment?

Follow the steps above, changing steps 3, 5 and 7.

  • 3. Carve both names. Carve your intention and both full names and dates of birth into the wax.
  • 5. Write a commitment petition. For example, "John Doe (01 January 1993) commits to Jane Doe (12 March 1995) and asks her to marry him".
  • 7. Visualise the proposal. Picture them committing to you or asking you to marry them while the candle burns.

Like other love spells, it is often cast on a Friday, the day of Venus. You can also add rose, commonly used for romance and loyalty, to your herbs.

Prefer to leave it to a witch?

If you would rather have us cast it for you, try our Domination Spell. Every spell is cast remotely, with photo proof sent once it is done.
